Description
...inspired by the look of nature here last sunday morning :)
Toolbox: Vue Infinite, G3D "Grass" & "Twig" and Photoshop for colour / levels correction, framing & signature.
The partially frozen and partially "disturbed" water surface in the pond is made with mixed materials, controlled by custom made bitmap functions.
All objects & textures by me.
Thanks for taking a look, comments etc. always welcome and appreciated.
Have a nice day

Wonderful landscape!!
Splendid and complex work, Lars, bravo!
It must have been cold night. Nice wind effects on vegs and water!
WOW, you really nailed the frosty look. WEll done.
Great job with the mats and the atmo is perfect.
Fine landscape! Upon sad charm dawn...
Splendid realisation, looks really freezy around here, so realistic elsewhere. If one wanted to nitpick, trees in the the background look a bit similar in shape.
most excellent well done
Thanks for your comments so far. To "jmherve", about the trees: They are modified "SolidGrowth" veg-trees, so the lack of randomness is due to Vue not randomizing them enough :)
Beautiful work.
Wow, just wow! Instant fave. I love the vegetation, the light, the colors, the water. Excellent image.
Beautifully done, the whole package is superb, love the frosty web.
C'est très beau!!
Wonderful picture! Greetings Lemy
Fantastic scene and lighting, looks fabulous. Nice work!
This is a great render - the atmosphere is perfect
Very interesting soft mood and light. And is that a spider web on the dead branch in the center? If it's not well, to me it looks like it and I like it a lot :)
Amazing realism!!
Really masterful, I love your half frozen pond and the icy look to your spider web. Top notch!
Nice illumination and wild look of the vegitation works very well in this scene!!!
Outstanding!
excellent frost-touched foliage. and the pond's great too. i think the only weak part is actually the framing and the presence of grain in the image.
Brilliant work! Makes me long for real winter again... :o)
It will ever make me long for winter lol but it's great work indeed love it all!~~
Beautiful work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very beautiful! Definitely gives the feeling of early winter
Really marvelous work, Lars. It looks so real!
