Description
This is for Geo, who will know what everything here is for! :) Tools of the trade ...
I hope you enjoy this, my friend!
..........
I finally got around to doing the low light work I wanted to try. I shot all sorts of things ... rocks, metal, wood, glass, ceramics, straw ... and I'm gonna make you look at all of 'em!
:)
..........
EDIT NOTE: For those wondering about the pendulum-shaped item, it's used in quilting. If you're right-handed, your right hand holds the needle above the quilt, and your left hand goes under the quilt to guide the needle. That silver pendant thing is to hold in your left hand so you don't poke your finger with every stitch you take.

What a great image and I love this lowlight shot. Beautiful.
super low light
The only thing I don't know is that thing in the back that looks like a pendulum :o) ...cool and creative shot dear T !
Excellent work my dear, you have cracked the system now :)...great still life study!
Very fine work here. Excellent!
I am with NekhbetSun, what is that thing that looks like a pendulum, and why would you use tweasers in sewing?? I have seen a sewing gauge before but never used one, is it to gauge the stich length for an even finish? I also have seen thimbles but have never used one of those either, apart from when I filched my mothers to play the wash board, can't have sore fingers when playing music. Lol. Question time over! I like you low light capture, and how eveything has this warm bronze feel to it, you have the sharpness of the scissors the pins the seam ripper(denotes cold steel) yet they all have this pleasant warm glow to them. A wonderful achievment imho, you have created such a warm atmosphere to a group of inanimate objects, which should be totally incapable of showing anything. A veritable masterpiece. Outstanding work, I can't wait for more of the same. Bravo!!!!!5+++++
Very nicely captured!! :)
Well done! I've done lots of low light captures unintentionally, none of them came out at all... ;p This is beautiful, Ms. Lightmistress!
