Nice shot. Really good for a pocket camera.
Well captured found. Great macro, Lee.
"We who are about to eat you, salute you!" Beautiful mantid in a shot you do not see every...year. Well done.

Words of the title for you both. Excellent!
Amazing shot!! :)
Strike one wasp, excellent capture Lee.
I never took much notice of the eyes of a mantid before your shot of a couple of weeks back Lee, I thought they were much like a fly's. This one looks like he is not watching his meal but looking backwards slightly, although he could well be watching it with the other eye. I wonder how they manage to sort out the image with one looking in a different direction to the other? I wonder how their brain functions? Superb capture, excellent clarity and detail. Bravo!!!!!
Awesome shot!
Oh my gosh! What a great shot! She is qorgeous, plus I love anything that eats wasps!
Love the texture and colors of the Mantid, especially the gold eyes! Must be something to see one in person. Thx for sharing!
Awesome capture! Splendid pose and details of this little creature. Bunny
