Description
509 hrs 15 mins and 58 secs to render this. 42 saves and this is just the first frame of a 30 second animation. Ok, it's not an animation, but I really wanted to see how this would turn out without giving up.

The result speaks for its self, this is a Beauty!!!
Incredible work. The flamingo's are awesome! This is a stunning image.
Wow! this is really stunning. I'm very surprised at the render time though. Sure you don't want to change your mind and render all the animation shots? ;)
That sure is a long time, but a lovely picture none the less.
Amazing image.
Fantastic image and POV!
Oh boy, 509 hours! I can't even imagin what that's like. However, it was definitely worth it.
breathtaking!

Holy moly Gary! Awesome render...but wow...509 hours....? That is almost 3 weeks. I admire your perseverance. No way I could have waited that long.
Wow! That's one loooong render! Awesome result though - a superb scene :)
It is a magnificent work, I like very much... Bravo!

Fascinating creation. What wonderful lighting...
Vast in its beauty, and well worth the wait.....
Very good scene.
Aww, man!!! This is just INCREDIBLE! What a wow factor, especially considering how loooong it took to render. This is beautifully composed, like a photo you would see in National Geographic or something. Fabulous artwork, my friend!
Cleverly done! very nice indeed!
For a single computer not bad but I believe there are some ways to reduce your time. BUT, sometimes things are worth the wait - I have friends at a local 3d studio and using a render farm of 30+ computers, some FRAMES of an animation still take 12-15 hours PER FRAME to render (this is using dual quad core processors times 30 computers (240 cores). So I think you did ok. The result is phenomemal - I think it was worth it...... We dont like to be patient do we - that is a 3d artists greatest asset (at least at render time)............Thank you for sharing this one. B
wow!
