Hats off for this excellently captured image. It is in my opinion quite perfect. It's all there, light, colour, composition, the beautiful rays through the mist, the awwwsome mood... Five thumbs up!
So I wish I could say the same Jodie, but the only sun I see here is my Lumie lamp, and it is not quite he same despite it's 10.000 lux LOL Just wonderful shot!

the fog is like silk, it bathes everything around it in a silky glow, the center tree is transformed into a filter for something divine (you caught the light where it blasts through solid matter), and the rest is quiet infinite sky, and a land which I think is in just the right focus—it's detailed with countless dapples of light, yet it's soft, as an early morning field should be. A simple & touching shot, Jodie, and beautiful.

A foggy day in London Town Had me low and had me down I viewed the morning with alarm The British Museum has lost its charm How long, I wondered, could this thing last? But the age of miracles hadn't passed, For, suddenly, I saw you there And through foggy London Town The sun was shining everywhere. Superlative capture of the sunshine breaking through the early morning haze, Jodie! Makes for a great silhouette study.
