Description
In the field of the nuclear power, a chain reaction occurs when a neutron causes fission of a fissile atom producing a greater number of neutrons which in their turn cause of other fissions. A not controlled chain reaction, which occurs with a sufficiently large quantity of fissile fuel (critical mass) can lead to an explosion of energy( see picture above), it is the principle of an atomic bomb. The chain reaction can also be controlled and used in a nuclear reactor to produce the energy.
At the time of a reaction of nuclear fission, the absorption of a neutron by a fissile core allows the release of several neutrons. Each emitted neutron can in its turn break another fissile core and the reaction continues thus, of itself. This chain reaction don't place has that so at least a neutron emitted at the time of a fission is ready to cause a new fission.

This is just awesome
Beautiful image. Super work.
Excellent!
Gorgeous...
Fantastic. Love the dynamic in this one.
Wow!!!
Outstanding my friend, love it ;O)
wow, this lives!
Tumultuous work Claude!
Controlled chaotic beauty - well done!
Wow!!! So stunning!! The colours and the lighting are just WOW!!!!

wonderful colors and shapes
beautiful work Claude.I am very behind in the galleries but I will try to catch up soon
Stunning! I can truly imagine this is what the inside of a reactor would look like when the chain reaction is taking place!
Its very beautiful! I love the colors!
Breathtaking work here Love this series of work
Gorgeous !!!
Again beautiful!!!
