Here's a shot from the San Diego zoo. Quite a nice display of pink flamingos. Before we reached this pen, I could hear something just pitchin' a bitch coming from the pen. It turned out to be this little flamingo crying for food. Quite an irritating cry to say the least. Finally after about 15 minutes mom relented and feed junior.....thanks mom~
I got this shot while she was feeding him/her. Had a great time at the zoo, that sucker is big...expect some uphill/downhill runs....whew, should have just brought a little point and shoot...

Such a well-composed image, it's great how their loopy necks go so well with the fluid background shapes and I'm impressed with how nicely the mother's body and neck frames her baby, so that even in the composition she's surrounding and protecting the next generation. Wonderful.
