Halloween Story: The Spell: For Rob Sir William was the youngest knight in the realmn. During his travels, William is accousted by a group of angry villagers, who wanted him to get rid of a witch, who had recently arrived in their village and taken up residence in the old witches temple. Sir William agreed to go kill the wtich for them. The rooms in the front of the temple were so dark that William mostly stumbled through them. Noticing light coming from a room at the back of the ancient building, he headed for it. Although the light from the room was not terribly bright, it still blinded the young knight. A few blinks of his eyes cleared his sight and left him spellbound. A beautiful young witch, named Dacora, was busy sweeping the stone flooring. The sound of Williams' footsteps caused her to look toward the door, where he stood. The knight was instantly mesmerized by the beautiful witch apprentice. He took a few steps deeper into the chamber, then stood with a silly smile on his face, all thought of killing witches wiped from his mind. Dacora's familiar, a calico cat, ambled over to the besotted knight and began rubbing against Williams boots. Callie's friendliness to the intruder eased Dacora's mind. The knight had such a fierce look on his face as he stepped into the light of the room., only to instantly transform from hate into love. No longer fearing him, Dacora turned away from him to resume her sweeping. She couldn't help being amused. She had evoked a powerful spell upon the knight--and hadn't even had to speak any spell or make any ensourceling movements to do it. However, what really struck her funny was that the knight had done the same to her. Dacora was as taken with him as he was with her. ___________________________________________ Not much of a story for not much of a picture--but, hey!--at least I finally got a Halloween render out before Halloween!!!!
