Description
I'm not sure what this was but as my ship was passing through the Suez Canal I saw this building. As you can see from the scaffolding it was being worked on. From the other side you could tell it was being refurbished.

I read and saw a picture recently of similar structures where the upper areas were used for grain storage and the lower as a residence. This picture seems to be a restoration of such, however I guess?

Interesting structure. So near the water would make me question its use as storage and no docks nearby - but who knows it might of been at one time and the docks are gone.
