Description

Nikon 7900 pocket camera, hand-held images. I have not researched this spider to determine the exact species, but it is definitely one of the Jumping Spiders. I have 2 more images of it I will post tomorrow. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

The first shot's good, but the second one is dynamite. It's lovely how the spider and the leaf both gracefully curl around the stem (good call leaving the leaf in there instead of going for a tight crop, by the way) and the narrow focus really helps enhance that effect. What a brilliant composition. Sorry I don't know what kind of spider that is exactly but its butt sort of looks like a UFO.
