My third in the mantis series. Can you believe those little 'flies'? The nerve. LOL. The mantis kept trying to shoo them with his free leg, but they kept coming back. I was astounded when they landed on the mantis! You know they wouldn't have done that if he wasn't already enjoying a bee.
Thanks so much for stopping by :) I appreciate your time and comments. My previous upload, "What'cha eatin'?".
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend!
Hugs,
~Melinda~

lol - AWESOME MACRO
Too funny! Love the title. Another great capture in this series
Fantastic shot.
:O wow
Now that's what I call rude. Why don't those pesky little flies let the mantis finish his meal in peace? Perhaps they're waiting for any leftovers. Anyway, another stellar macro of the Praying Mantis doing what it is most adept at, Melinda.
Awesome capture. Flies don't listen when I try to shoo them either. Very nice.
Brilliant macro & fantastic action capture
looks like he chewed the head of the bee right off there !!! awesome macro capture and amazing find something you sure don't see everyday !!!
Excellent capture of a moment in nature. I suspect that the flies are too small to be held by the Mantis and that they know it, lol. Thanks for sharing. Lee
Fantastic shot, I love the clarity.
Wow talking about getting up close and personal! I would get a little irritated too if I kept getting bugged like that. Fantastic work!
Fabulous shot!!
Very good!
SPECTACULAIRE !!! Bravo Melinda, c'est superbe !!!
Superb shot!!!
WOW a really suoper shot. Well done. I love it.
I wonder what part of the bee they prefer to start with, the head or the business end? Do they eat the stinger or spit it out like a fishbone? Great glimpse into the insect world with this wonderful macro!
awesome macro work...
Great macro. Superb.
super series
