Description
A couple of weeks ago I looked out the window one morning at sunrise and was greeted by this scene. I quickly grabed my camera and went outside. The sun was just touching the very top of the then flowering syringa tree while the moon was just lazily floating about on it's way down after lighting the dark of the night. Well - I liked it...
Thank you for popping in and for your much appreciated comments on this image as well as my previous upload.

This is beautiful. I find these types of shots to be tricky and you did an amazing job here. Well done, Carin!
sooo wonderful photo !!!!
beautiful lighting on the branches and moon!!!
Beautiful light and mood. Excellent shot!
Very nice Carin, I used to be up very early myself but I don't have to be up with the lark any more(mostly well before the lark) and after three years I can now sleep in sometimes until after nine in the morning, instead of four or five oclock every day. Excellent capture, watching the moon go down whilst eating breakfast, can't be bad. Bravo!!!!!
Beautiful..
I like it, too! GREAT capture!
From reading your narrative you must have experienced a serene moment of this positive energy that comes to early birds! This is a very beautiful capture.

Beautiful image Carin, this is just wonderful! last night the moon was very big and bright in the sky, it was great to see because recently we have had so much gloomy cloud cover lol.

Great shot. One you can get lost in thought just looking at it.
It's that time of year. Superb capture.
So evocative ... we all see the same moon, no matter where we are.
Fantastic work.

It had to be moonglow... Stellar early morning capture of the foliage residing below our nearest neighbor in the heavens, Carin And, before I forget, actress Charlize Theron was born in South Africa.

The moon can be so difficult to photograph well, but you achieve a great effect here with colour too from solar illumination of the trees' foliage
