I heard tell he had some sort of bullet-proof armor
He made his own crude armour for his torso and head...but as you would expect the police shot him in the legs! He was hung for his crimes.
I can relate as we also have numerous stories where colonial authority did not always serve the people of the land but rather the Crown far away. Very interesting capture.
