Once again I'm out night shooting in San Diego this time in Balboa Park. This is such a nice area to get some night shots as many of the buildings have such unique Spanish flair to them. I spent quite a bit of time shooting this area, but I was taken with all the covered arch ways which bordered this this park. So very picturesque at night. This one is one of the many covered arch ways I shot this night. Each one is a little different than the other.

Balboa Park is a 1,200 acre (4.9 km²) urban cultural park in San Diego, California, United States named after the Spanish explorer Vasco Núñez de Balboa. Placed in reserve in 1835, it is one of the oldest sites in the United States dedicated to public recreational usage. Besides open areas and natural vegetation, it contains a variety of cultural attractions including museums, theaters, gardens, shops and restaurants as well as the world-renowned San Diego Zoo. Balboa Park was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977. The park is managed and maintained by the City of San Diego Parks and Recreation Department.

I love this, Na'e. It's not too over-the-top in terms of detail, and yet it's all there. What I'm referring to, is all the HDR images we're suddenly getting flooded with...What you've done is something simpler, and yet soooooo much more tangible.
