Description
I took this photo a few weeks ago at St Ouen in Jersey, its simple but I liked the way the hay bales were sitting just waiting to be collected.

Well seen and captured Susan! :)
Sometimes the simple ones have the best effect, I like the wonderful POV.
Beautifully done!
Terrific shot!!
Very nice capture!!
I just commented the other day that I was used to seeing square bales. Its only here on RR that I have seen the round ones, very interesting to me! Great shot and nice ode to summer! Super POV!
does Jersey get fairly cold?I imagine the wind coming off the Atlantic can be chilly.excellent landscape
They're rolling up summer to put away until next year, I guess...great capture!
Very beautiful! Fantastic work on this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Roby ;O)
I was told that they were 'cotton buds' for giants ears.... Great shot
They are cotton buds for giants ears, you know my imagination and it makes my mum laugh every time we see some:)
Excellent capture!!!
I don't know about cotton buds Susan, we know them as tractor eggs round here, they are usually covered with black plastic and shine out in the meadows. The other day I saw some lilac ones in a field but I didn't have my camera with me at the time. I used to love hay making when I was a teen, we used to ride back to the farm on top of the hay wagon(before bales) and when we got close to the farm we used to rake down pears from a tree that we used to pass under. The only way to get them was from on top of the hay. Excellent capture, and though they are modern, the memories are old, I se they are protected with an electric fence as well. Bravo!!!!!
The electric fence was keeping the cows in the adjacent field Jeff. Yes also they are normally covered in black plastic.
Excellent capture - great POV!
