Description
A hotel room with the television on. Same programs, probbaly the same words but in a foreign language. Never watch tv at home, except for the late hight news or some major sports events. Probably because the rest of the programs are in a language the words of which have long lost their original meanings.

Fantastic work! I love the stark contrasts in this image as well as the elegance of black and white. This is astonishing in its simple beauty!
another beautiful fugue of lights & darks, horizontals & verticals, and the interplay of textures that only small cramped spaces can provide. (And if it's not a small cramped space, your photographic eye made it so, bringing everything into musical interaction.) The TV is almost lost here, maybe a nice comment (i.e., it should only get lost sometimes, so dominant is it in modern culture). But it's presence certainly tells us the accepted role it has in our lives. The fact is, there is as much revelation in the room & out the window as there is in the TV; and when eyed in that little space to the left, it seems to say, "if you just look around you, you'll find as much there as you will in me." A subtle active shot, with beautiful use of blacks & whites and textures. No surprise there. It's one of many things you do with the subtlest means...
