Description
The southwest face of El Capitan, a 3,000-ft. (910m) vertical granite rock formation located on the north side of Yosemite Valley, Yosemite National Park.
This granite monolith is one of the world's favorite challenges for rock climbers.
This picture was taken on 22 September 2008.

there is an El Capitan in Texas too ! It is located in the Guadalupes Mountains National Park (west part of Texas) :-) Great capture of your El Capitan !
