Azores. There are few beaches in the islands, but there is a number of natural swimming pools, formed by the lava flows into the sea, they form a sequence of semi continuous barriers, and the inner pools are protected and quiet even during rough weather

There is a heaviness of the sea in this that I think is well created by the layers of different wave activity in this one view. Excellent work.
