Description
Vaggabondd helped me with this one. We were on a path by the Columbia River when we saw this snake crossing the side walk. Vaggabondd ran and picked it up by the tail. Trust me I used the zoom haha. I was able to get a couple of shots off before Vaggabondd let it go. This was the best one. It tried to take a bite out of vaggabondd a couple of times so he let it go. I hope everyone likes it Lizzi...

olàlàlà ...I like not very animal !! :o)
Oh my gosh!! This is a beauty! I must say, Vagabond is a very brave man. Did you know what kind of snake this is? It's gorgeous whatever it is! What a fabulous shot you got, too!! WOW!!
Isn't that a rattle snake? Nice shot!
Wow! Nice picture! From what I've been able to find, it looks like the Common Garter Snake and a beautiful one at that. Where on the columbia were you hiking?
Great shot!
Fantastic shot.
Excellent capture...
A daring capture by both of you. Terrific story.
your brave LOL, great capture..
awesome macro!!!
Even garter snakes don't like to play eenie meanie. An ambiguous head shape neither oval nor triangular.
iiiiihhhhhh! wonderful photo!!!
Great shot, and a great title!
Marvelous capture!
Wow..better to use the zoom! Bravo for this capture :)
Wonderfully!!!
Joli serpent, belle capture ;)
cool shot
Nice capture of the capture, lol. I do not know the species, but I am positive it is not a poisonous snake because the pupil of the eye is round and not slitted. Just remember that even non-poisonous snakes can (and often do) bite. Thanks for sharing, Lee

A magnificent capture. Excellent shot! I would use the zoom too. Bunny
Cool shot...are you sure Randy picked up that snake, I would have to see it to believe it....lol
Fantastic shot! Extremely well taken!
COOOOOOOOOL
Utterly remarkable shot of the serpent as it displays its disgust at being so humiliated in this affront to its privacy, Miss L! Other than the tongue, fantastic clarity and textures in this capture!
Fantastic shot!
Beautiful snake! I like snakes.
