Description
A fascinating facet of PhotoShop CS3 is the ability to load and section a large 3D dataset in real time. Make a 3D layer of your obj file, and then tumble it around, and apply the sectioning tool ... voila.
...erh ... Let's say quasi-realtime, depending on your hardware. This dataset really strained it, taking several seconds of latency to move, scale or rotate each of these layers ... touch anything and wait. I have to give it lots of credit! It never crashed! It's a new (to me!) and unique set of rendering styles to explore.
I hope you give it a try.
If you need a mesh to toy with, please browse this
collection. Should you see something interesting, I'll generally be happy to send the mesh to you, my friend at renderosity.
Of course there are strings attached. You also have to beg and plead on your knees and sign an affidavit in blood naming your next of kin. The committee always prefers some kind of gift as well.
Or should you decide, it's Ok to just record the video of said pleading and begging on your knees, upload it to uTube and simply send the URL. Much quicker - and cleaner. The committee doesn't care and always enjoys a good URL.
Enjoy!
