Description
This is for the "Size doesn't matter" contest over at Digital Down Under. It is inspired by the animated film "The Iron Giant", I really like that movie. I was trying to convey the idea that the size of an individual doesn't always reflect the size of ones heart. Sometimes the most trusting, loving and courageous indiviuals can come in the smallest of packages.
Background was done in Vue 6, the flowerchild was a base model done in Poser 7 with her hair and clothes done in PS and the iron giant was drawn from scratch with some movie stills as references, done in Photoshop CS2. I had alot of fun doing this peace, thanks for looking and hope you like it.
P.S. Please check it out in full view if you have the time, in the way it was intended to be seen :)

fantastic scene and message
Cool scene, I especially like the girl in the back.
Great concept and execution, that sky looks amazing and really helps to bring out the two characters.
Terrific scene and very well composed! Excellent!
The moment I saw the image it made me think of The Iron Giant, even before I read your caption. I think you captured the haunting sadness of that movie quite well, and in the process created a truly moving piece of art. This is quite simply wonderful.
