Description
I know .. not very imaginative but still it pretty much describes what I have here. This was just a try at using a few different ecosystems. Not the best image but pretty cool looking all the same.
Done in Vue 6 Infinite. Full size view is best. Thanks for looking!

Realistic landscape. Nice render.
wonderful landscape
very effective in full size....lovely done!
You must have a very powerful computer. This must be about a billion polygons. When I try to populate to that extent, my computer balks. This is just amazing. Isn't Vue the greatest? You have certainly made a very lovely scene. The low-hanging clouds go perfectly with the general look of the piece.
Not a very powerful one. Actually it's quite old. A Vaio Pentium 4 2.80GHz with 2GB of ram. This particular image has 4 objects & 1 light source. It says its 8,482,960,436 polygons. I believe it took about 2 days to render. Thank you for your kind words. They are very much appreciated. Thanks to everyone who has commented on my works. Your comments are greatly appreciated.
Beautiful landscape!
A great composition, Skip. I like playing about with ecosystems, when I have the time. I did use a similar, craggy terrain once and populated it with sheep. Seen at a distance, it wasn't too bad. Most of the terrains which I use are quite eroded, and dip below the sea, or into a loch. I just love where the mountains and hills meet the water. I like your sky, although it is not something we would see in Scotland. Ours is usually grey, wet and changeable. To cap it all, this year we had less sunshine than parts of Norway above the Arctic Circle according to the meteorologists. Keep rendering my friend. Warm regards, John.
