The first of 3 entries that I did for BluesDragon's 'Frazetta' contest over in the DAZ forums.
The contest was for creating a pic in the Frank Frazetta style, but making your own image and not copying any existing Frazetta works.
I don't aspire to have created anything hopeful to win but I threw my hand in even though I was unwell quite a bit during the time I did these.
As I write this (24-Sept-2008) the contest is still in the process of being judged by Frank Frazetta junior and also seeing as there were literally hundreds of entries I'd say it was quite a successful contest to say the least. :-D
This pic caused my Vue system to crash and all I got out of it was a larger sized Poser 'preview' quality render, so I was forced to use that as a basis for the final pic which of course is postworked, as are all my entries for this contest.
Besides, I only wanted to render one large image when I knew it was going to be postworked in any case.
The lead hero female character & clothing is Valeria by Scooby37 but I changed her face and made it more 'mature'for this pic.

Cool scene. Love the background. The pose on the male character could use a little more work, particularly on the legs. He should be grounded for a spear thrust. Thanks for posting!
Looks like you put in a lot of hard work on this one. I love the handpainted look. Well done.
