Hello All~!
It just had started to rain when I captured this old fishing pond from under the willow tree. Some Amish keep a fish pond stocked to live off of . The simple life. Gosh ,I sure wouldn't mind having this view in my back yard -I wanted to live here!!!... fell in love with the old world charm of this place . There were bunnies, wild geese, roosters and baby chicks running around this pond before this but when it started to rain they all took cover.
Saturated slightly curves and framed on this one .
Going to be a busy week for me as I have Chrissys 11th B-day and Janels 14th Birthday all comming up in the next week with two slumber party's ~!!! So wanted to put something up before the B-day rush & craziness around here!

Now that's as pretty as a picture... geee what i wouldn't give to use a larger one of this in an image.. MAGNIFICENT!!!!

You have a way of capturing the 'inner shimmer' in your landscapes, and if one squints and forgets the objects in your pieces, they can convince themselves they're looking at radiance itself. Maybe it's in your bringing out the light-outlines of just enough things that one feels they're looking at a world-alit—ie, the lights on the overhanging boughs on the right, on the ducks in the far side of the water (each little lights), the lights along the pier-ropes, etc. Maybe it's the way you capture water or sky, the former with just enough ripple to show movement but little enough to appear a sheet of shimmering light, and of course your biblically dramatic skies with rays, here, coming down in whites & blues. Or maybe it's in capturing nature spilling on itself—here in boughs over the water...It's a shimmering shot, foreground zig-zagging into background, with the overall feeling of splendorous peace & beauty which the Amish would approve and which you obviously resonate with, because this pours out of your soul as much as from your camera. Peaceful & beautiful, a little bit of paradise once more...
