Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where is this beautiful country ? If you try shoot similar photos with the polarization filter clouds will look much deeper and air would'nt be so blue ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polarization
Lovely scene!
Nice looking pic! Good work!
The picture is taken not far from Rosciolo (AQ-Italy), if you have Google Earth coordinates are: 42°08'50"N - 13°20'25" E view direction is toward South. The distant mountain at the center is Monte Viglio (almost 2100m height) and the plain below is "piani palentini". I know polarizer filter, is useful and I used it in the past (with analog photography). Here the tchnique used to better contrast the cloud is completely different and, obviusly, is digital. It is based on the merge of two pictures taken with different exposure, in order to build an High Dinamic Range image: http://www.cybergrain.com/tech/hdr/ then I made a low (8 bit) version of such HDR using a mapping algorithm proposed by Reinhard et al. I used QTPFS program.
Wonderful capture and scenery, Excellent well done..
I like everything about this one! Definitely adding it to my favs.
