Description
This started out as a personal lighting & material challenge.... i think it ended up looking nice =D
i need to do a bit more work on making realistic-looking dust for things, as well as a sapphire material that looks more like sapphire instead of cobalt blue glazed porcelain... oh, and the other materials as well... *sighs*
but... i think my candle light is improving =D

Wonderful composition and the blue looks just stunning! Love the effects on the candle light!
The objects seem perhaps to float over the table but the mood is really wonderful. Bravo !
I love this! materials are always good things to work on. The candles need to be a little less tall and slim, and some blue at the base of the flame would be good. but otherwise it's very good...too good to be a wip if you ask me!
Wow.... so detailed and rich in colours.... beautiful
Wonderful image
Looks great,
the candle light looks good. There's something a little off with the shadows on the table, they could do with maybe being a bit stronger because it looks a bit like things are floating at the moment. I dunno how you'd do dust though - try asking in the Vue forum, I expect someone there will have an idea
items MAY be floating (not sure, dont think i looked that close) - but it was a basic importing of two objects (hallway & candle stuff)... i didn't move anything on the table itself. shadows - yes, they need some help - the scene is lit only by the lights in the candles. as it was a test of materials & lighting, i didnt bother checking exact placement of objects. LOL. a bit more blue in flame base... good idea, thank you =D as for the dust - been trying to work through silverblade's dirty tutorial giggles... but i keep mucking things up. oh well, this is the closest i've gotten so far ;) and the marble top to the table... i need to work on the marbling LOL. anyways, off to go fishing =D thanks for the comments & suggestions!
Great work!
It came out Very Lovely!!!
Excellent candlelight!
I have been wanting to make a candle light scene, but not sure how to do it. Thanks for the tip.
