Too motherly of an embrace. I suggest you pick her up which will lead to her tying to pick you up and failing. This shows the difference which can be explored further. It is not a matter of dominance but of support. If you actually can get her to trust you long enough to sit on your shoulder and not just piggy back you will get past childhood. Then when she finally jumps up on her own you are in for a tussle.
