Description

A few days ago, one of our beloved members, Helle (Helanker), lost her dear brother Ole. I'm sure everyone who knows & loves her joins in sending our deepest sympathies her way. We all hope that her heart--which is so big and joyous--will now carry her brother whose heart could not carry him any longer on this earth. Helle, may Ole live inside you and in the hearts of all who loved him. Our love is with you in your time of loss. I also extend my wishes to Susank, Ole's niece (also a member of Rosity): Both she and Helle posted beautiful memorials this week. My childhood tradition taught, "it is not the wise who are in heaven, but heaven that is in the wise." We have all seen the heaven in you, Helle--you spread it like the sun everyday. Now Ole can dwell in that heaven with you. Deep comforts my friend, and to everyone who mourns with you...love & lots of hugs, Mark

The simple background compliments the sweeping curves of the plant so beautifully. It looks like very early morning with its foggy warmth and stark black lines and the ground painted that 5 A.M. dark blue shade. I didn't know Ole but I'm sorry that he's gone, and glad you gave him such a wonderful tribute. An easy 5.

This one reminds me of the Chinese Bamboo for Bro. Andre. It has that same breezy, swept feeling as if there was a message in the wind for you. If you miss the message it will just follow the gentle curves of the plant's leaves (which flow like water) as it ascends up the rocky slope. Even the pastel yellow lines are like soft clouds that are stretched along with the breeze. Excellent use of negative space to create this current. Another Fave and a beautiful tribute.
