I'm sure there are far more creative titles for this foto, but my brain's a bit mushy at the moment. Either too much coffee or not enough, I think!! At any rate,this is the drummer from Roy Rogers and the Delta Nationals, part of the blues concert I attended last weekend. I thought I was done with these pix, but when I saw this one, I just had to do something with it. This guy was wearing a white tuxedo jacket, with shorts high top boots, though after the very first number, he'd untied his bow tie!!

Awesome shot. Being a drummer myself, wearing shorts is a good idea, you don't the foot pedal from the bass drum tangles up on the bottom of your pant legs.
Another great use of decolorization to emphasize only certain areas.

Something lost in the disco era as synthetic beats came and only Ringo could find a following. The pictorial display of energy put on by a drummer was half the show.
