Description
This man is the real reason I went to the blues festival on Sunday--John Mayall**!!! I first saw him a very long time ago, and he's only gotten better and better. The man is 75 years old and can outplay, outsing, outperform people half his age. His signature song is "Room To Move****" and it blew me out of my seat. The link I included shows him playing it live with Eric Clapton, sometimes in the 60's. John Mayall----WOW!!!!

Wow ! great capture Marilyn, he certainly doesnt look 75! you captured some passion in those shots, excellent catch!
He should come to Thonotossasa to the Southenaire Hall. Does he write the songs on a sheet of paper and place it at his feet on the stage? I'm just a spectator. I prefer airplanes to busses.
cool tribute, thanx for link
Too cool, John is the reason why I took up playing Blues Harp, and too tell you the truth my memory fails me on what concert I first saw him. ( must have been the punch..lol) Great capture and links!
John is a legend .... great capture..
Wonderful captures -- you must have been pretty close!
And if anybody wants to listen to Mayall doing "Room to Move," you can click here. I personally like Evil Woman done by John Mayall and Peter Green. (I love Peter Green.) Whoo-hoo! Wish I'd been at the festival with you!
super star
Yup, he's one from the past that has made it to the future. Great shots and I gotta go with ya on this one...he's really outstanding and gets the mood on the move.
I saw him live in Bath, England in the 60's! Glad we share the interest!

A very talented man, indeed. Your photo collage shows his abilities well.
I know all about John Mayall from his Bluesbreakers days and Eric Clapton ... truly great musicians. Better than most of todays rubbish tunes. Tony.
Fine collage of the bluesman, John Mayall, who resembles an old Stewart Granger.
