Description
I snapped a photo in North Wildwood, New Jersey (natch!) containing this lifeboat. The photo had beach, ocean and people at the top of the photo and grass at the bottom. I decided to crop this boat out of the image to give it some focus. I then played around with it by adding grain, dialing down the saturation, give it a little mist, and then adding a spotlight to make the corners fade. Enjoy!

Cool tweaks, Art! Cropping can quickly turn an average photo into above average, and gets better and easier the more you do of it.

Art, your postwork is interesting not that I totally understand it yet. Maybe I needed to see the original to see why..or it was for fun. I do like this..something off balance but that adds energy to it all. Thanks for this one and I am not sure why. Humm...
