and thats exactly what this llama did ,only i was lucky ,i ducked lol :o)..they get quite annoyed these animals ,a bit like celebraties when they dont want their pic taken .this is another pic from the farm .

Do you know if they are related to camels? This profile really has a lot of similarities to a camel. I got a shot of a thing this week that looks like this...sort of. Its got more colors in it but the ears are forward and it is looking straight into the camera. A real ham. I'm not sure if it was a llama or an alpaca. I'm not up on those things I guess. Since your shot is so excellent, maybe I'll try to compare the two and see if I can determine if it is also a llama. Maybe it was just a short, hairy camel? :-)

I tend to stay well to the rear when these things are around Mick, one thing I don't want is that gooey stuff they call spit all over my camera. I would sooner be looking in the face of a tiger than one of these, at least it would be a quick death. You are a braver man than I Gunga Dinn. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

Yep, they spit like anything, I have never ever got that close to one other than a dead one, when I was a master furrier, great capture mate!
