Description
A slug Mom picked out of the garden on a leaf she's holding up to the sky (thanks, Mom!). Slugs are annoying creatures if you have a garden, but they are curious and quite adorable up close.
Postwork: grain smoothing, color/contrast brightening, cropping.
Thanks for hanging around here, and thanks for your comments (well, mostly thanks for the ones longer than four words and a smiley).

What a sweet looking portrait this is! Marvelous clarity and colors!
what a excellent macro and lighting!!!
Excellent macro; I used to give them flying lessons when I removed them from my garden...
They are very attractive, but I prefer them not to chew throught the stems of sunflowers. You've shown the texture well.
Absolutely gorgeous capture!
I guess I have too much gardener in me, but it is an interesting shot, well lit. JDoc
