Description
Sometimes as you walk thru a forest such as this, you forget what it is you're really seeing. I mean, see one redwood, see em all, right (I believe it was Ronald Reagan who uttered that infamous, stupid quote!!--but that'sa very different type of discussion!!)??? As I walked last Friday, every turn brought something different and this particular view stopped me in my tracks. For this IS the forest........

Really a magic view...bravissima!V:DDD.Hugsxx Whylma
I would enjoy myself immensely getting lost among these trees. Yea, RR uttered many a stupid phrase..."now I don't remember saying that!"
Magnificent !!! Full of green !!! Great work !!! Very well done !!! :) :) :)
superb powerful image!
wonderful color and light
Maybe thats a good thing Mar ;) Great photo....
Overpowering for the sensations!
Ronnie might have said it but it was around long before he was born, it is slightly different in that it was 'Can't see the wood for the trees' it is in a collection of proverbs by John Heywood(1497-1580) See http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/John_Heywood Excellent capture though Marilyn, I would love to explore this place myself, I used to do a bit of Orienteering many years ago, and then when I got my Radio Ham licence we used to do direction finding in places like this. Well nothing like this to be truthful, it was just pine forests not giant redwoods. Lol. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!
Outstanding shot, Marilyn! It is truly reflective of the reality of it. The forests here are jaw-dropping and that's just what I did when I opened this thumb.
I don't know, it makes sense....you've seen one, you've seen 'em all! Not really. This awesome and beautiful sight must have frozen you in your flip flops when you first came upon it. Can we say, spiritual, also? Now we know how the Lilliputians must have felt when they first encountered Gulliver. Anyway, stark light and shadow in this fine capture, Marilyn.
Cool deep forest with great strong colors.
cool looking
Oh, nice forest shot!
Such majesty. The forests are so special, and bring such a variety of beauty. JDoc
Full view is totally worth it. It's like being there!
What beautiful shades and colors, I do believe that a fairy tale must live in there somewhere :)
Excellent well done..
wunderschön die Stimmung in diesem "Zauber"-Wald!!!
A Very Enchanting place, Love it!!!
