Description
Out on the breaker by the Cape May Ferry, there was this fisherman who baited his hook, cast the line, wedged the pole into the granite slabs, and then just stared at the tip waiting to see the quiver of a nibble. Each time he would strike this pose. I was compelled to take this photo. Enjoy!

excellent!
great work!
Yup...I look like that when I fish. Only I'm shorter and have longer hair... Oh, and I'm prettier. :-) Great shot. One of patience.
great shot - I can not say I have ever fished that way but why not.
Great capture and title, he looks very patient indeed maybe he knows its going to be a slow day lol
Great capture, nice title :)
Funny and charming pic!
LOL, fishing is NOT about catching fish, it's just about being there!
LOL So very many techniques for people who fish. This one is kind of different, in an obsessive-compulsive-on-vacation kind of way.
excellent observation of the hunting species, I like him! RS
I need a chair, just looking at him!
I can think of worse places to be! Great shot!
