Description
This is pretty much right out of the camera, I just cropped it. I kept thinking the light was too bright, but who am I to quarrel with Mother Nature--she's WAY smarter than I am. The light in a redwood forest is exactly this way. There's such a canopy of those talls trees, that when the light does make it thru, it's often every bit as bright as you see it here. Other times, it's softer; it changes at every single turn.
Put on your sunglasses and ZOOM!!!

Mother nature's light is never wrong. Beautiful image.
NICE...............
Looks like a nigth shot. Great Image!
I think ferns and palm ferns must have magic in them. The light always makes them speak. This is a perfect capture and exactly how the light looks.
The fern clearly likes it! What a healthy-looking plant! Gorgeous.
I wonder what you used for the light. Great shot, though. Love the bright green fern, well done.
You've captured mother natures very own spotlight perfectly Mar.. Gotta LOVE those redwoods huh? ;)
The lighting is great and there's a perfect contrast with the brown under-brush.
Walking at night sure gives things a different look. Aloha
Beautiful and mysterious.
super use of the light
Wonderful shot, the light IS amazing!
When it comes to Mother Nature I gues you just have to go with the flow. Excellent use of available light Marilyn, I imagine there aren't that many spots where the sun shines through the canopy. Bravo!!!!!
Fantastic details and beautiful light !!! Outstanding macro capture !!! :) 5***

Spotlight is right. Really stark contrast and great compo in this shot, Marilyn. Actually, even though it's not nice, Photoshop was invented to fool Mother Nature.
