Description
This is another view of the same tree I posted the other day. It reminds me of a song by Eva Cassidy, "Tall Trees Of Georgia"**, haunting, pure and beautiful!!

Very intimidating from the pov!

'Living giants.' They are so awesome...and so humbling. Great shot.
I love shots like this- I have an affinty for old trees and often lie under one looking up at the sky.So I love this!
i have neck ache now ... ;)
Another amazing view -- and my neck hurts now too! Great work!
This is an experience I would like to have in person, I guess you really have to be there to see their majesty, to feel the atmosphere, to get that adrenalin rush. This is the nearest I'll get to them though, so thanks for sharing. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!
I think its impossible to walk through the redwoods and look at the tops at the same time. Either I'd fall on my face tripping over roots and stuff, or I'd walk into the trunk of one by accident, and if I did manage to walk with my head tilted back at a 90 degree angle to my body, I'd wake up the next day with severe neck pain. Best to just sit somewhere and gaze...at least for me. LOL This is a wonderful mood shot.
you`ve captured the mood and atmosphere excellently here marilyn .another awesome view :o) mick

That's really nice and awesome, Marilyn, but remember what I said about using the Shadow/Highlight tool in PS.
