Description
The Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) is a goose belonging to the genus Branta native to North America. It is sometimes called 'Canadian Goose', although that is not considered to be strictly correct according to the American Ornithological Union and the Audubon Society.

Very nice work! The Canada Geese come in winter and hundreds snuggle together on the lake when it's iced over, to keep warm. They feed on lawn grasses in Spring, but I've never seen the young here and didn't even know how they look.
Ah yes, the ubiquitous Canada Goose. Here they are all over the place, all times of year. Many choose to winter over right here, apparently they find plenty of food despite our snowy winters. Some are year round residents, believing they have found paradise. Most people like them, but not in their back yard. They leave very large poop, LOL, rivaling what I pick up in the yard after my dogs! A wonderful capture
