took this earlier this week in East Texas.to judge the distance the green things on the horizon are trees.it is a maize field thanks to Maria's id.right next to the field was recently harvested corn. not selective coloring.the sky was heavy overcast and light rain.I ran for the car as it started just after I got out of my car

Beautiful shot with contrasting colors. This looks like a field of 'milo' which is a sorghum grain.
The title is right on the money for this cature Richard, really great one and try not to get that camera wet ;)

The contrast of the maize and that dramatic sky is fantastic Richard, you could get lost in there, a Maze of Maize. Reminds me of Micks upload from the York maze a couple of weeks back. Superb capture. Bravo!!!!!
