Description
Somethng very different today - a blast from the past! Back in 1998/99 I spent six months creating a space "mini-movie" and I have now uploaded it onto YouTube - you can see it here:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lIxhTCVQFFo
In those days, there wasn't the readily available content, so everything you see here I designed, modelled, textured, animated and rendered - and I wrote and recorded the music specially for the project too! It took around six months of my spare time to complete, working mostly with Inspire 3D, which was a cut-down version of Lightwave.
The final version was good enough to be included on the cover disk of a UK computing magazine, although some things - like the walk cycles - look pretty crude looking back on it. I remember being particularly proud of the way the landing shuttle kicks up dust from the surface!
Anyway, I hope that you have time to view it - thanks for looking and I'd really welcome your feedback, even if just for the sake of nostalgia! Have a great day - Phil

I am totally impressed with this movie ... OMFG that must have taken a long time to create. I'd have no clue about even beginning a project like this. Well done.
