morning all :o)
for those that dont know this is max my springer .sunday gone was his birthday 10.08.08. he is now 2 years old and hopefully will settle down a bit now or should i say thats what i`ve been told :o)..i took this shot on the day of his birthday whilst he was quiet eating the lamb bone off the sunday joint .as you can see he loves getting tucked in and i`ve been finding bits of bone all over the place .he always get a big bone as the joints are big ,as i cook the sunday dinner for all the gang ,8 sometimes 9 in total :o)
i was`nt around much yesterday as i had cap fitted on a tooth at the dentist .to say i was in agony is an understatement .

Lovely shot, Mick. My what a lucky dog, I've never once eaten lamb. Theoretically, he should slow down, but don't bet on it, lol. My cocker took longer than that to finally settle down. He's a lovely dog, and lucky to be loved by your family, Mick.

the vets here are saying not to give bones to dogs because it ruins their teeth, but they sure enjoy them. I give mine dog biscuits instead. happy birthday Max and maybe after 4-5 more birthdays he may settle down

Back in the days of married life I worked all day Sunday as a Hospital Cook and when I had to give my job up for health reasons I would cook the Sunday lunch, I found it just as exhausting cooking for 4 as cooking for 200 at work lol. great capture of Max, nobody is going to take that away from him lol.
