Description
On Friday I attended the 50th birthday celebration of a very good friend of mine. I went early to help, and ended up wandering around taking pictures, which surprised no one!
Michael has a beautiful home, circa 1940, full of lovely things. I'm going to have to go back during the day when the light is better, and take more photographs. :)
This metal lantern hangs from the eves of the back deck ... a charming spot to sit and enjoy Michael's lovely back yard.
I'm hoping that this turned out looking like an old, grainy image from eighty or a hundred years ago ... something an intrepid explorer would have shot in Japan, perhaps, to bring back and show the folks at home.
