Description
This little guy was determined to protec his flower. The closer I got the bigger he tried to look. I'm sure in the insect world it would have worked quite well. ZOOM for best details
***Update***
The spider in this image is a Goldenrod Crab Spider here is a website with more info on crab spiders

Bless him, he really love his flower. Close up spiders are most beautiful, this little guy most certainly is a charmer I guess.
Impressive macro's here ... excellent! They are fun to watch, aren't they!!??
awesome macro work... pure perfection
great shot, even more interesting with your commentary.. very nice work
This is a fine collage and series of shots of the spider. This one which I do not know looks like a jumper, perhaps. Yet, it protected the flower and did not jump. The color of the flower makes this even more appealing...what a combo of color with the flower blue and the spider so neatly marked.
If there is beauty in a spider you have captured it. Wonderful job. JDoc
Very nice captures. I do not know the species but it is definitely one of the crab spiders. A very pretty one at that. The blue bloom provides a wonderful background and the details are crisp and clear. Thanks for sharing. Lee
