when I saw the announcement that you had an image of a fae, I almost did not take a look at it, mainly because I'm not into faes...but I could get into this fae :) Very nice...I love the suki texture.

ANOTHER gothic Fairy chick in big boots?
Yep thedugan. My second one in my gallery. You see it was part of a series untl the SG were banned. I love the way you troll the galleries. Putting everyone down and yet do not have ONE picture in your gallery. When your work is up, please come and give me constructive criticism, until then please refrain from commenting. Ty :O)
yup, 3 years in Rosity and not a pic! I guess its easier being a critic than a doer! Kitten, did you do this in Channel Mixer in Photoshop? If so, I'd be tempted to add just 3 or 4 % of blue, with blue as the output channel - try it and see what you think. But that's just stylistic preference, I think this is very well executed, a cut above most B&W in Rosity.
I didn't use photoshop at all. I use paint shop pro 7. I postwork it as if it's colour then change it to greyscale and postwork it more. I never used the channel mixer but that's something to experiment with next time I do a black and white, which knowing me will be very soon!
what's wrong with Gothic chicks in boots? also, I don't see kitten's work as imitative. on the contrary, she has her own style. 5+++
