Spun glass is what I think of in this. or how about the fibre optic lights so popular in another age... LOL I play with the campfire long into the night and then bank it carefully for early morning. If I do it right, I only have to light one fire per camping trip, no matter how long the trip. :-) This is a very cool shot.

Super time-lapse capture, the sparks seem like the hair of some wild woodland creature ! I wish it was warm here, all we have at the moment, is strong winds and freezing rain ! ~Cheers~

This reminds me of, when sugar caramelizes before, it is broken up into bite-size pieces and used for cake-decorations etc. A very delicate capture Ken, in more ways than one. BB
