Description
Another poppy from my garden, this one from the back. The poppies are growing in a pot up on the patio, and the bloom was actually over my head! I didn't have to crouch or do contortions to get up underneath the flower. All I did was walk out on my patio and point the camera up and push the button. Then I went back inside.
Don't I have an exciting life?

LOL, if it got any more exciting, you might have to take up a hobby!! Great POV, I've always wanted to see a poppy's backside!!
LMAO.....Same life as me it seems....great photo of a poppies behind!
Exceptional rear here! Wow
...tolle Idee! Eine super gute Aufnahme!!!
That's as much excitement as is comfortable for me nowadays! Marvellous rich colour and a sharply hairy stem.
Sometimes the mundane activities produce the best things... wonderful image!
It's a very deep red color and good close up detail. I would love to walk out "under" flowers like this.
Great idea to see how is a poppy looks from the other side. We always concentrate on the front a more beautyful angle but I have to say this way just as interesting and not an everyday shot. Realy like a red color.
Nice capture Tara, the details are fascinating!
excellent pov
Great idea, great shot!
i hope you told someone where you were going ... incase you got lost
Poppy has a lovely backside. (Next time you go out there though, you should maybe give her a hint about black undies with a red dress! Worse than white shoes after Labour day!) A lovely clear and vibrant shot, Tara!
beautiful red color !!!! poppys are always so cheerful!!!
Yes you doo :))) Wonderful colors ....yes. :)

Oh Tara, such marvelous details and colors!
Just as exciting as you want it to be, right? :) Love the point of view.
Deep contrast between the stem and flower in this fine macro of the underside of a fire engine-red poppy. It may have been TwoPynts who originally came up with the concept of shooting flowers from the underside, at least on RR.
so red and wonderful
LOL... Beautiful no matter how you look at it :)
I always knew that poppies were beautiful flowers and this proves it. It is a beautiful capture. You certainly have got them growing high.
