Taken near to the Rock of Ages site in the Cheddar Gorge where it is said the writer of this famous Hymn took shelter in a storm Eos 1VHS Canon 70-200 f4 and then digital scan

The very best place for rocks is exactly where they are an the best condition is unpainted and uncarved. Finally a hymn where the music is not Olde English Aire and the lyrics are not Olde Scottish Lay.
