Description
Asked my daughter Kate if she thought this photo was good. In her 14 year old wisdom responded " I don't think you should put that on there Mom. It looks like those drugs people in the 80's used to sniff up their noses. Think it's called Coke." Perhaps I should have called it Colorful Blow. Just powdered candy if anyone doesn't know Pixy Stix.

LOL. We used to get these as a kid all them time... yummy sugary goodness. Wonderful, playful shot.
Been years since I saw those. Cool shot!
Ha, how appropriate for her to make such a remark! LOL Lovely colors and textures contrasted by the dark background.
Beautiful composition!
Many, many years ago, when the craziness of our modern world began to grow, there was a Halloween when some freak filled pixie stixs with poison and handed them out to the kids at the door. It was just horrid. I have not touched one since and try to steer my kids and grandkids away from them as the memory is still so vivid and disturbing. Great shot of these spilt sticks. I'm sure they are sweet tasting and lots of fun for kids but I never got that picture out of my head of innocent little excited children being handed poison candy.
Great capture...
This is terrific, funny and unique Cynthia. An outstanding capture. Wonderfully written. Another Masterpiece. Really one of your best. Really farout image. Huggs... Silkylady...
Your daughter Kate has her priorities right and walking in the right path, congrats for her knowledge and well teachings. But I still love the taste of Pixie Stix and still eat them after everyone brings them to work after Halloween in fear of it being laced with something. Colorful capture. Aloha
Very creative...didn't know they still made those :) Really like the black backdrop fot it....nice contrast.
quite pretty dust
