Description
Here is a look at the hollyhocks from the old farmhouse I am helping to re-model. We found a coin in the wall (1838) and I am sure by the condition of it it was not far from new when it was lost. Thank you for looking and for any comments. They all are very much appreciated. -GB-

Amazing beauty and very crisp and clear. What amazes me as much is the find of the coin! What a feeling it must be to discover something which had value more than a 100 years ago.
Beautiful image! :)
Amongst my favorite flowers, A wonderful shot, GB. Keep hold of the coin it may bring you luck. Diane.
Love hollyhocks! Super capture with the dewdrops as well! I was enjoying the bush across the street but I woke up last Friday to find that painters had come and cut the whole bush down:-( Excellent find of the coin! I wonder what story is behind that coin in the wall!
was für ein schönes Foto von der Stockrose!!!!!!!!
Lovely flowers (related to Malva?) and excellent photo!
great photo!!
Beautiful capture!
Wow! That's a treasure you found in that coin!! Wow! I would love to see it! Can you post it??? :) The hollyhocks are gorgeous; I planted some this spring and they are doing beautifully. Severe storms tried knocking it down a few times, but now i have it tied with string, to help hold them up. :)
So perfect round what only nature can made. Wonderful deep pink color with an off white middle.
spectacular image!
Just a spectacular image of these humble yet stunning flowers! :)
Beautiful!
I have done extensive remodeling work on 3 of my own homes (rentals I lived in) and in tearing out floors and walls I have found great things. Even just digging up the yard to plant new grass of put in a flowerbed can yield the most marvelous treasures! But here, not only did you find a treasure in a wall, but you found one in the yard as well. This is a fabulous hollyhock!
Most Excellent photograph.
