Description
This is a picture of State Route 97 between the towns of Sparrowbush and Mongaup. It is locally called "The Hawks Nest" since it is on a cliff high up over the Delaware River. It is a very winding road which is fun to drive. So much so that it has been used in numerous car commercials over the years. Only one side of the road has pull offs for cars to stop and take pictures. You are able to see cars on the road and cars pulled off in the distance. Enjoy!

We have many like this and many like this with no guard on the outside. Logging trucks barrel through often taking more than their one lane. :-) Gorgeous shot!
Great scene and shot of the road.
Fascinating!
